It is reported that the threshold of China's top 500 enterprises has been increasing for 21 consecutive years, and in 2023, the threshold was 46.998 billion yuan, 2.373 billion yuan higher than the previous year; the threshold of 2023 China's top 500 manufacturing enterprises was 16.550 billion yuan, 1.772 billion yuan higher than the previous year.

The Top 100 Chinese Multinational Corporations List and Multinational Index Ranking List is generated with reference to the standards of the United Nations Trade and Development Organization (UNTDO), in which non-financial corporations with overseas assets, overseas operating income, and overseas employees are ranked according to the amount of their total overseas assets; and the Multinational Index is calculated by taking the percentage of the overseas operating income, overseas assets, and overseas employees in the corporations' total operating income, total assets, and total employees as the percentage of their total operating income, total assets, and total employees.
